to my surprise i received many congratulations this father’s day. I guess technically I am a “father-in-waiting” as I would put it. anyway, thanks for all the compliments and congratulations!
to my surprise (again!) my wife blessed me with a new pair of SANUK shoes/sandals for this father’s day! (my $20 Old Navy Chuck Taylor knock-offs are hurtin!) check out the new kicks…we saw these while we were in California and they are about the most comfortable things to hit my feet in years! they’re a cross between a flip-flop and a sandal/shoe. the sole is a flip-flop sole and the rest is like a beachy type sandal/shoe.

Wow, being gone for 9 days was alot! We had great times in Florida (congratulations to Ryan & Betty Kondo and Troy & Steph Leslie on your beautiful wedding days and marriages!) and also with friends and family in Maryland and DC.
