two flat tires in the past 3 days!
December 17, 2007
i can’t remember the last time i had a flat tire, it’s been quite a while.
but this week we got 2 flats in a span of 3 days!
I was able to plug one with a $4 tire plug kit from Wal-Mart but the
other one got pretty messed up from driving on it a bit too much to
get our car home. We had to kick-it-to-the-curb and get a
new one. bummer!
Anyway, Christmas came early to our toyota camry…it just got a spankin new tire!

December 13, 2007
so I haven’t posted much photography work as of recent, in part because I’ve been so busy with photo work! Im considering starting a whole new website/blog for my photo work, but in the meantime here’s a portrait I just did this morning of IHOP-KC senior leader Matt Candler.
stay tuned for more info about a new photo website and recent photo work…

milk, it does a body good…
December 8, 2007

in our downtime, one of our most recent favorite things to do is to visit our local grocer and pick up a few glass bottle quarts of local farm produced milk! milk??…you say? well yes, some milk is just a bit better (and more fun to drink!) than the the regular ol’ milk!
Shatto Milk Company, located in Osborn, MO, makes some fine tasting milk products including a range of regular milk plus some flavored milk such as Strawberry, Rootbeer, Banana, Orange Creme, Chocolate, and Egg Nog. so you can now rest assured that we’re getting our milk mustache on and growing strong bones while having a great time doing it!

missions field: we’re going to HAITI…
December 3, 2007

(Haiti is an island nation that shares a border w/ the Dominican Republic)
Over the past 2 years we have been blessed to get to know Theo & Melissa Steinhauer. Theo is Haitian born and Melissa is Puerto Rican. We first met in Florida and now we both reside in KC and are on staff at IHOP. We are very excited to announce that we have an opportunity to make a short-term trip to Theo’s homeland of Haiti with a dual purpose of spending time with Theo’s family and also establishing relational connections with Haitian pastors and leaders in the body of Christ. In addition to fellowshipping with Theo’s family, we will be planning to visit and serve a Haitian house of prayer that recently opened in Port-Au-Prince. We desire to see transformation occur in Haiti from the result of men and women seeking God in prayer, fasting, serving and evangelizing as well as serving the needs of the poor and demonstrating the love of Christ. Although visiting orphans and feeding the poor is wonderful and valuable, it will not be our primary activity for this short-term missions trip. Our primary purpose for this trip is to get on our knees with Haitian leaders and ask God for national transformation! We will be in Haiti January 8th-14th!
