TheCall is not an event. TheCall is a movement emphasizing prayer, worship and fasting for Spiritual breakthrough. It is a nameless and faceless movement joining the generations. Therefore, it will not be marketed as a convention of celebrities. The primary participants are young people. The musicians on stage are to be worshippers, not entertainers. The board of directors will not receive financial compensation, speakers and leaders come at their own expense.
People should prayerfully consider fasting on the day that TheCall gathering is in their city, region or nation; no food will be provided. TheCall is a grassroots movement. It is a cross-cultural and cross-denominational gathering. TheCall espouses these definitive values: worship, unity, prayer, fasting, follow-up, transformation, repentance, reconciliation, impartation, equipping, revival and a holy revolution.
Recently The Call (along with IHOP-KC leadership) held an event in “Sin City” itself (Las Vegas, Nevada) where somewhere between 5,000-10,000 gathered together in UNLV’s Thomas and Mack Auditorium to worship, pray, fast, and seek the Lord together. Lou Engle and The Call offices have recently relocated to Kansas City to partner more closely with IHOP-KC and the House of Prayer!

the thing I love about Luke is his ability to articulate deep and profound truths of God and His Word in very understandable ways.

we were so blessed to partner with Prayer & Praise Assemblies of God church in Ludington, MI this past weekend for their first Worship and Intercession conference. They invited the Luke Wood worship team to come up and minister to them with worship and teachings.
on the way up to MI, we stopped at Chicago’s #5 ranked pizza place. the pizza was great but getting lost trying to find our way back to the interstate was not so great! we lost about an hour of drive time trying to get back on the highway!
we arrived safely on thursday night and spent time at the church on Friday preparing for Friday night’s opening main session. the church community was so tender towards the Lord and each other and they were so grateful for how the Lord used us to encourage them and ignite fresh fire for the Lord amongst their church. it is so clear that they have hungry hearts for the Lord and desire Him break in to their small town on Lake Michigan.
Friday night Caleb spoke on Psalm 27:4 lifestyle and the heart of David. He was excellent in explaining this! Steve spoke at the main session Saturday morning on the topic of God’s invitation to partner with Him through intercession. Saturday evening Steve spoke on a similar topic to kick-off a full-on 2hr prayer meeting! Saturday afternoon Amanda helped our team host a 2 hour clinic demonstrating and explaining how we lead and sustain 24/7 prayer meetings at IHOP in Kansas City with worship music and people praying on a microphone. She had an excellent time answering people’s questions and casting a vision for leading prayer meetings within the local church context. We led worship for their church Sunday morning and then Luke spoke on the history of God’s tabernacle and how He is restoring it even in our day!
After fellowshiping with many church members, we returned Sunday afternoon and make the 12 hr drive back home and arriving back in KC very late that night! what a blessing to be able to minister and serve the local church in Ludington, MI!

We leave today headed to Ludington, Michigan to minister at a 3 day conference focusing on worship and prayer. wow, this actually happened last week!
1995 Toyota Camry LE, 4 door, 4 cylinders
I purchased this car in 2000 with 45,000 miles on it from Carmax in Laurel, Maryland!
We’re hoping for another 50,000 miles!
