chick-fil-a follow-up…
April 19, 2007

Chick-fil-a Opening #2 (…for us) was an amazing success! Our net worth has just increased by 104 combo meals…or approx $540!
On a spontaneous move, Lee Weeks and I decided to camp-out before the camp-out…yes you read right. We showed up at 12:30am on Tuesday night! Lee was #1 in line and I was #2. Zach Wood joined in the fun and met up with us around 1:30am. We were all hoping for a big free prize for being the first 3 in line (the Olathe store gave away two brand new Lazyboy chairs) but didn’t quite cash in as we expected. None-the-less, it was a great time!

Good for you. It’s comforting to have something in the frig when things get tight.

Wow-Steven! That’s great! I just figured out that I need to work 20 hours taking care of my nursing patients in order to net that amount of money! I also get to see the results of “colon cleansing” on a daily basis everytime I change their diapers!!!
There have been camp-outs up this way too- 24 hour vigils for the V.Tech victims and their families. There are ongoing prayer services throughout the area, on college campuses, at my girls’ middle and high schools and at my nursing home.

It’s for real, huh? They don’t do this in the Northeast, and I’m thinking about calling up the ACLU! I need to know about this!

Nuggets! I don’t recommend the wraps, especially when you eat them with the paper on. Enough said!

you guys are committed to your chick-fil-a. What do you usually get? Chicken sandwich or nuggets?

I love that we now have a [semi] team tradition of making a Chick-Fil-A run between sets on Saturdays!! Good fun!

wow. that’s seriously dedicated.
My wife and I are for real jealous. We ate CF in Utah all the time when we lived there.
Okay, so I’m not jealous because that’s a sin.
Unless you’re a husband’s fury; then I guess its not.
We discovered CF in Salt Like City along side the crown burger, a Utah original, which features corned beef and 1000 island sauce on their patties. Its crazy good.
Which, by the way, is the new pop-tarts slogan. Are pop-tarts really “crazy good?” I’m usually not impressed with the stale cakeiness.
