does anyone have any *lip stuff* ?

I know there’s certain people out there that are hardlined about *lip stuff* - my wife is a chapstick fanatic and I love her for it b/c I’m always *that guy* asking for *lip stuff* but, sometimes the normal stick just doesn’t do the job and my wife’s lip cracked last week! so…
{1} what is the best brand (and by best, i mean most effective) chapstick?
{2} what is the best tasting (not that you should be eating it) chapstick?
{3} what is the best packaged (can, stick, tin, etc) chapstick brand?

i would have to say hands down burts bees. its natural, its minty, and it does a really good job. only draw back its a little pricy for lip stuff. but it works.

Yeah, I’d have to say that Burt’s Bees is the best I’ve ever used. And also the most expensive. You could probably find it at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that, but I’m not sure…

Dude, this stuff called Lip Ice. I got it at a random golf course and it worked really well. Let me know if you find it anywhere, I can’t seem to.

Okay, here’s where I’m at. Can’t afford burts, but vaseline ($0.59) seems to be doing the trick. However, you have to slather it on like every 45 minutes. Rumor has it that Kristin Shaffer has the miracle cure all (besides healing by the Holy Spirit, which I am not opposed to having people pray for my chapped lips. It would be funny if I stood up for that in the prayer room. Although the Lord cares about the little things too :) ).-Amanda

when my lips are chap, i tend to just leave my mouth shut until i build up enough lip cheese. when that has occured, i then proceed to take a cue tip and spread the lip cheese evenly over my lips. gross? i think is is a little, but it works!

Banana Boat with Aloe and Vitamin E. I have sworn by this for years. I am a fanatic or addict like Amanda, it has been in my pants pocket everyday of my life. The other brands that say Aloe and Vit. E do not compare to Banana Boat. Check it out Yo!

yo, that would be zinc oxide that surfers and lifeguards often used to wear. (im a beach kid) its mostly uv protection. i think that the cheapest place that i found out in kc for burts bees is cvs. if not chapstick just came out with a ‘natural’ brand that is not bad. doesnt have the same zing as burts but it is ok. also look at halmark stores for the burts bees sales, they some times have good deals.

Makesure the lips are coated real good before you go to sleep. Then they can heal during the night.

Anna: I know…right. but to his credit he only uses MY lipstuff when we are out and there’s no lotion to be found. Also, I does ALMOST ALWAYS encourage me to use lotion before I go for the chapstick

Anna: I’m totally full-on for lotion, I’ll ask (or search) for lotion before chapstick when i don’t have my own.
here’s another fringe benefit to lotion on lips – its more sanitary to use someone else’s lotion than someone else’s *lipstuff* (…steve)
